GFSN WIKI - CONTRACT RULES
CONTRACTS
Contracts come in many different forms from various corporations, factory's, and other players in game.
The different contract types are as follows ;
Logistica Export Contracts
These contracts require players to goto the specified servers Export silo and process waiting export contracts where you will verify that the amount indicated is present in the export silo. If found, you will load it into the Logistica truck (provided) and then back up 50 feet and dump the goods into the sell point. You then complete the export contact and you are paid instantly by the system. If per chance the amount is not present in the silo, you may simply click REPORT to notify contract owner and remove the contract from the waiting que.
Please note that logistica export contracts cannot be performed by the player submitting the contract and MUST be verified and completed by another player,
Logistica Import Contracts
These contracts require players to goto the specified servers Import silo and process waiting import contracts where you hop into a logistica truck and purchase the amount or crop or product indicated on the contract and then dump it into the import silo for player pickup. You then complete the import contract and you are paid instantly by the system.
WSS Driving Contracts
These contracts require players to goto the specified servers WSS Trucking Depot and process any waiting trucking contracts by purchasing and delivering various products and goods between WSS owned factories and player factories and silos. The contracts pay well and equipment, fuel and repairs are provided free of charge to all WSS Drivers. The daily trucking contracts are automatically generated by the system and are valid until they expire at midnight (Eastern Std Time U.S.) Each WSS contract completed can randomly reward a player with an additional 0 - 3 slots.
Always be sure to clean, repair and refuel the equipment at the end of your shift for the next player.
Futures Farming Contracts
These are automated farming contracts where you agree to grow a crop and deliver it to a factory for a fixed price. Futures contracts guarantee the amount of money you will earn for your crop, and will also provide addtional acres that will be credited to your player account. This is the primary way that players earn addition acres for their farming accounts. Players can accept the contracts and produce the needed crops on their own land, OR they can lease land on the Dakots Futures server to grow the crop needed. Lleasing land on the Futures server for a futures contract that you have will NOT be counted against the player acre limit. If the futures contract calls for you to plant soybeans, and says that you need 25 acres to produce the required amount, players are actually allowed to lease as big of a lot as they want to overproduce the crop so that they can then sell the excess crop produced for cash. This is a great way to help your farm grow quicker !
DOT Seasonal Contracts
These automated Dept of Transportation contracts require players to goto the specified server and perform a seasonal DOT task. This could be for mowing grass in common areas on a server, for plowing snow (in season only) or for performing Police Patrols or doing Waste management trash pickups at factorys. All equipment is provided to players, and the contracts pay by the hour, allowing you to work as little or as much as you want depending on contract availability at any given moment in time. You simply "punch in" do your thing and then "Punch out" to collect your hourly pay.
Always be sure to clean, repair and refuel the equipment at the end of your shift for the next player.
Player contracts
These are random player created contracts which can cover just about any type of work that needs to be performed on the server, including factorys, animals, trucking and general farm work. The official sanctioned GFSN payrate is the amount charged for an AI helper per hour and can vary from server to server.
All contracts will increase your current player level as well as increase your available slots, each time you complete a contract.
Taking a contract and then NOT COMPLETING it could result in fines and penalties in addition to being assessed for damages if the farmer lost money due to your non-performance of the requested task. !
