PLAYER CONDUCT First off, thank you for being here. Players are expected to treat each other with common courtesy and respect at all times. Be kind to each other !

Players should exercise good judgement and act in good faith at all times in our trust based system when playing.

New players starting out are given 500k in player cash to help purchase their initial farm and or equipment with. We highly recommend that you use this money wisely as it is the only new player cash grant that you will ever receive when starting. Players can find excellent bargains at Shady's used equipment lot.

Yes, Shady is a real person, so be sure to check his lot as he can wheel and deal with you to insure you get what you want at a fair price. He also offers buy here, pay here plans for those with no established credit. Renting equipment is another way to lower your initial cost when starting a farm.

Please note that players are only allowed 1 GFSO account per houshold only.

Returning players While we are not sure what happened the first time around, we are definitely glad to see you back again. While we cannot restore your previous wallet, we will credit you with 350K to start out fresh again !

Players looking for work can earn money from other players needing help and by doing contracts.

To look at property that is for sale or lease, click on the map legends found on the main web site player menu. It is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that you visit the lot you intend to purchase PRIOR to buying or leasing it !!

ALL Players MUST REQUEST A BUILDING PERMIT when building on land that they own.

GETTING AROUND ON THE MAPS
As a general rule of thumb, we do not allow players to drive across fields that they do not directly own. Fields on our map have many different owners and the lots can be in many different states at any given time. This being said, it is NEVER OK to cut across any field that you do not own.

Please be considerate of other peoples land ! If you do not own land, use the free public parking lot to store your equipment or rentals while you are not using them or they could end up being impounded by the servers police dept and then auctioned off if your not careful when parking.

IMPOUND LOT This is where improperly parked or abandoned vehicles will usually end up in most situations.

THE RENTAL CENTER The rental center is open 24 x 7 and has a limited inventory of popular (often) rented farm equipment for players to rent out at semi resonable prices. It's cash and carry and it is open 24x7. Dont forget to check in your equipment via the website when you return it to the rental center.

You are required to clean, refuel and repair the equipment (at rental center expense). Failuure to do so can result in fines and a loss of access to rentals. The Rental Center specializes in BASIC FARM EQUIPMENT only and is first come first serve in nature. Not all servers have Rental centers so check first.

LAND OWNERSHIP Owning land in our system is a priviledge and players are expected to exercise care and good judgement in their treatment of the land.

LOT OWNERSHIP LIMIT'S There is no limit on lot ownership, but there is a Player based acre limit and each acre owned or leased counts against your player acreage total.

SLOTS - What are they ? Here at GFSO, each player is given 300 slots upon joining. Player Slots are consumed by purchasing equipment, putting down new buildings on your property or buying new factorys. Earning additional slots is easy, just accept and complete available player contracts(5 slots each), import/export contracts(2 slots each) or WSS trucking contracts(2 slots each). You can then use these additional earned slots to buy anything you want if you have the cash to pay for the desired item.

PLAYER ACRE LIMITS - Can I earn more ? All players start out with a 200 acre limit in their player account. In addition each server in our system has a limit on how many acres a player can own on that server. Check the main page to see what these limits are for each server.

Players can buy and own or lease as many lots as the server acres limit will allow for, provided that they have the available acres on their player account. In order to earn more acres, players can bid on FUTURES CONTRACTS which are issued by factory's seasonally to supply needed crops each year.

These contracts award Futures acres to you when they are completed successfully. For every 500 futures acres you earn, you can redeem them for 10 real in game acres which will be added to your player acres limit.

The bigger the contract you take, the more acres it will award you with (provided you win the bidding and are awarded the futures contract), but be careful cause if you don't deliver the full qty (crop amount) on completion, you won't be awarded the additional acres !

LEASED LAND All land leases end 36 days from the date you lease the land (1 in game year). Leased acres count against your overall player acre limit. Leased lots cannot be cancelled by the player and are automaticaly terminated by the system once the lease period has ended (36 days after signing the lease).

If a player chooses to sub lease land from another player, that player must own the land that he is sub-leasing to another player for the lease to be valid.

AI HELPERS Are allowed and you pay the servers prevailing wage to rent them.

OTHER PLAYERS EQUIPMENT As a general rule of thumb, you should never touch, borrow, or use any vehicle or equipment that does not belong to you in game unless you have prior permission from the owner.

ANIMALS are a core component of farming life and here at GFSN we believe in realism. Players are required to transport purchased animals themselves, both when buying and selling to the animal dealer(with the exception of Chickens).

Players should also endeavor to keep their animals in good health by tending to their needs and not allowing animal health to fall to ZERO. If an animals health falls to zero, the animal will be removed by a mod automatically. It can also randomly remove old animals, so be sure to sell them first to the animal hospice to prevent loosing money on livestock.

Players can also sell animals to the servers butcher, or pay to have them butchered and receive a pallet of various meats back which can then be sold on the open market for revenue !

Players can own 1 of each type of animal barn on any given server. Barns can be upgraded to bigger barns at any time by the player. The cost of the new barn upgrade will be reduced by 70% of the cost of the old barn it is replacing.

CONTRACTS Players can make money and find work in our system by accepting contracts and then doing the requested work in a timely manner. Contracts can be for the export or import center (logistica), Waste Management trash pickup runs, or can be DOT safety patrol, snow plowing(seasonal) or grass mowing contracts(seasonal), WSS truck driving contracts, or even player contracts.

If you accept a contract, you should always complete it or cancel it so that someone else can do it. In most cases doing contracts will earn you additional slots which can then be used to purchase more equipment, buildings or factory's. This is how to increase the number of slots you have !

WSS DRIVING CONTRACTS Players who enjoy truck driving can look for WSS AI generated player driving contracts delivering needed supplies to factories located on all of our servers.. Equipment is provided for free.

FARMERS SUPPLY When playing the game, a player will at some point need to purchase basic in game farming supply's such as Liquid Fert, Solid Fert, Seeds, Lime, and Herbicide, etc. These can be bought and purchased from the FARMERS SUPPLY SILO conveniently located in the back of all IMPORT/EXPORT centers. you would enter that as 10 instead of 10000 which is invalid. Farmers supply does NOT buy products back from the player once purchased)

FACTORY RESOURCES MANAGER
Be sure to say hello to the local factory resouces manager on each new server that you visit. The Factory resource manager can help you to find the best available factory to purchase and operate, depending on what is currently available, and help get you started as a new owner.

BANKING If a player's checking account is overdrawn for any reason and stays that way overnight, Banking overdraft fees will be assessed to the players account. This generally happens when a player makes a mistake, or is bad at math This is looked upon poorly by the banking cartel and will result in a potential drop of a players credit score.
IMPORTANT: ALL LOANS ARE TO BE TRANSACTED THRU OFFICIAL LICENSED BANKERS ONLY ! Private loans are not allowed between individual players under any circumstances.

GETTING A NEW LOAN All players can get an 1 instant loan up to 300K with no waiting or application process. Simply select a bank of your choosing and get your cash. It is just that simple. All loans come with an automatic pay option (mandatory) and the interest rate charged is determined by a players credit score in game.

NEED MORE THAN A 500K LOAN ? Our bankers are delighted to offer a broad spectrum of personal loans along with Mortages and Commercial Business loans. Players will need to have good credit and a plan in hand when they apply for the loan.

SAVINGS ACCOUNTS : Players looking to park their money overnight can place up to 9 million dollars into their savings account. Interest on savings accounts is paid out daily at an annualized interest rate of 3 % and added to your savings balance. Money can be withdrawn at any time without penalty. Interest is ONLY PAID OUT if your main checking has a positive balance in it. It is worth noting that if a player has an existing loan from a bank, the annualized interest rate paid out on savings drops to 1.5% until the players loan has been paid back in full.

CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT : Players in search of higher interest returns are encouraged to purchase BANK CD'S when they are available from individual banks when offered. Banks frequently offer attractive CD's that can pay a much better interest rate, based on how long you are willing to invest your money for, until the CD reaches maturity and pays off . Credit scores will often rise when a player purchases a CD for investment purposes.

BANKING - POINTERS AND TIPS FOR GETTIING A MORTGAGE

Going to the bank to ask for a mortgage is as easy as filling out a loan application online and meeting with the banks loan officer to go over your income and work history to see if you qualify. Here is what the bank will want to know before they approve your loan or mortgage.

1 - Your credit score.
Have you established your credit by taking out a small loan and then paying it back over time. Banks want to see that your checking account stays positive, and that you are able to make your payments on time. Having a credit score above the starting score means that you understand how credit works and you pay back your loans on time.

2 - Your Income history
Don't think that that bank will automatically grant you a loan or mortgage just because you want one. This is not how banks work at all. Banks need to insure that you are a worthy credit risk with a documented ability to pay back a loan. This means having all of your income ledger receipts for the last few seasons ready for inspection by the loan officer if he ask for them. If you have no documented income, then applying for a loan is a complete waste of time. Come back and apply once you do have some documented income !

The bank will want to know if your a regular player who shows up to play multiple times a week who is in good standing with the server admins and other players.

3 - Have you ever defaulted on a loan previously ?
If you have and it is within the last 7 years of gameplay, you are NOT ELIGIBLE to obtain financing until at least 7 in game years have passed.

4 - Can you afford to service the new loan ?
This is a question that you and your loan officer will cover and go over extensively before you get approved for the loan. The loan officer will take all of the above into consideration before approving or denying your loan request. The ultimate goal of the banker is to insure that his bank does not loose money making a loan to you.

5 - Are you a saver
Do you put money away regularly and leave it there so that it can earn compounded interest ? These are good habits that can help you obtain financing as it can help demonstrate that you can handle money in an orderly fashion to the bank. Having a solid down payment can often make all the difference in obtaining a mortgage.

General tips
The key to obtaining credit is to establish good credit. This means maintaining a savings account and borrowing a small amount of money, and then making payments over time to prove you are a worthy credit risk. This will increase your credit score and show the bank your a serious player.

On the other hand, applying for a huge mortgage on the first day you arrive and start playing will usually result in an instant denial of credit for all of the reason's mentioned above, so, do try to act responsibly and allow some time to pass while you take the steps to build up your credit first, prior to applying.

Applying for a loan and being declined will instantly result in your credit score dropping 10 points.

Applying for a loan and being approved will drop your credit score by 20 points instantly. Paying back the loan over time will result in your credit score rising over time. Banks do not like being paid back in full instantly and in fact this can damage your credit as your score will decline precipitously.

GFS Player Credit scores
Players can request to transfer their current credit score and earnings history from our sister platform GFS to GFSO as it is considered to be valid having been earned in accordance with GFSN rules. Credit scores rise when a player completes numerous contracts, buys bank issued cd's, or makes regular contributions to a player savings account without making frequent withdrawls from the rising balance.

OTHER BUSINESSES : There are no insurance companies, no stock holdings, no market managers or any other nonsense of the sort. If it's not available thru official GFSN channels it is to be considered a scam and is not acceptable in our community.

Please note that any account that stays negative for longer that 7 days will be suspended, liquidated, and removed no questions asked. The player will lose all assetts in bankruptcy. If you return to the game and restart, it will be with zero dollars in your account and there will be no initial 500k land grant..

Our system is designed to run on trust and overdrawing your checking account is probably not a great idea in the long run, as our bankers are only too happy to charge an excessive fee to the unwary check kiter, which can really add up fast over time..

Generally, players who borrow money to build and then vanish without paying off their loans and leaving a mess behind are persona non-grata and will not be allowed to return a second time unless the player receives a waiver from admins.

GFSN, is NOT a COMPETITION to see who can earn or make the most money. We are a COMMUNITY first and foremost, and we expect players to work with each other and help each other out whenever needed as one would expect in a community environment such as ours.

SLEEP TRIGGERS Please DO NOT attempt to sleep by using a house or outhouse or any other means to make the game skip time to the next day. This is a multiplayer game and we NEVER SLEEP.

PLAYER DONATIONS We are NOT a pay to play or pay to win community. Any donations that our players make go directly towards paying the power bill for all of those expensive high end servers that make up our Global community ! We self host and this cost us a fair amount of money to maintain each month, so if your able to help out with a small donation, then that's really cool. Lets face it, not everyone can afford to donate, and we are totally ok with that. By donating, you are directly subsidizing and helping those who cannot afford to pay, and allowing them to have a fair and equal chance of success in the game, just like you.

Players cannot buy their way to success in our community. Everything has to be earned. There are no shortcuts, it is all upon YOU to learn and earn your way to success in our system. This involves work, lots of work if you want to have a farm and nice equipment. Just like in the real world, there is no tooth fairy here that will show up and stick a new tractor under your pillow while you sleep. It cannot be bought no matter how much real cash you have, it HAS TO BE EARNED the old fashioned way via hard work !

All donation's help to keep the lights on here for ALL PLAYERS, so if your looking for a worthwhile cause and you want to help out, know that it is for a good cause and it is a non-commercial community that you are supporting and enabling. Please note that all donations are just that. They are offered on a monthly subscription plan to players. We can also accept one time donations if you feel the urge to help us out !

ADMINS - If you need help, ask an ADMIN. Thats what they are here for. While we do have written rules that cover most aspects of gameplay, players on occasion can try to do things that are not specifically listed in the rules. It is important to remember that the ADMIN ALWAYS HAS THE FINAL SAY and if he tells you that something you are doing is not allowed, then it is not allowed, FULL STOP, end of story. Getting into a heated argument in discord with an admin about rules, is likely not the best solution for you as it could get you banned. The admin ALWAYS acts in the best interest of ALL players and is allowed to interpet grey areas of the rules to provide clarity to players whenever there is a question about what is allowed or not allowed.

PLAYER ACCOUNT NOTES Player accounts that own land and resources are automatically DEACTIVATED and removed after 60 days of UNANNOUNCED inactivity unless you notify admins in advance (Donating players are exempt as long as their subscription remains active). All player items will be auctioned off or removed without re-imbursement to the player. If a new player gets an account and fails to become active on the site within 21 days, the account will be auto deleted by the system. 

LEAVING US ? All player land MUST BE sold back to GLOBAL TITLE and all equipment must be sold off and delivered to Shady's prior to quitting. If you leave a mess that others have to clean up, you likely will not be allowed to return again, so don't let this be you. Your mother does not live here, so do clean up after yourself to stay in good standing with our community.

It is important to note that GFSN is for ACTIVE PLAYERS ONLY. This actually entails showing up in game and playing at least a few times per week to qualify as an active player in our system. Simply visiting our Discord and saying hi once a week does not qualify you as an "active player", nor entitle you to keep your account in our system. If players go on vacation, it's cool, but do let staff know that you will be away for a while so that your account can be noted and put on hold temporarily. .

Please remember that playing in our system is a priveledge and as such, should not be taken lightly. Please be respectful, curteous and friendly when dealing with other players and staff for best results. If you have anger issues, please leave them at home !

GFSN Modpacs - Mods are intended for private player use only and may not be posted, shared, sold or given to anyone. Lots of work goes into these mods and they are private. Full stop, end of story.

Content Creators - Welcome to GFSN, if your looking to stream our servers there are a few basic rules that you must follow when broadcasting. First and foremost, we have many private mods that acurately depict well known national brands that you should avoid showing in your videos. Also avoid showing anything in your videos that has to do with alcahol or recreational drugs, as these could get your video taken down by FT and YT. Broadcasters should avoid showing any potentially copyrighted names of items to avoid legal liability from legal copyright holders. Our mods are for private use only and we are not liable should you broadcast something inapropriate in a stream or video. Broadcasters accept full liability for all content that they produce while playin in our system and GFSN.
