FS25 - Misty Mountains
In the heart of the Ozark mountain range lies Misty Mountains, a place where the past meets the future in a harmonious balance. This quaint hamlet, known for its fertile fields carpeted with wildflowers and snow-capped peaks, was once settled by the Amish centuries ago. They arrived not seeking fame but to found a haven for old-fashioned craftsmanship.
Misty Mountains is a Mecca of quality production, where every item from handmade wooden toys to knitted sweaters holds a story of precision and artistry. The Amish here believe that great products must be made with care, using ingredients gathered from the land they call home.
The residents, diverse yet unified, share a deep-rooted respect for their heritage. They celebrate festivals honoring local artisans, where handmade crafts are displayed in colorful shops. Children learn to craft toys with care, while adults take pride in their work, knowing each piece is a testament to patience and skill.
Yet, Misty Mountains faces challenges. As seasons change and harsh winters come, the community must adapt without compromising its traditions. They innovate, finding ways to source materials sustainably despite limited resources. Their shops buzz with activity as artisans repair old tools and create new designs, always striving for excellence.
At the heart of Misty Mountains lies a strong sense of community.
Every shopkeeper knows their craft, each artisan respected for their dedication. The town thrives on the shared belief that quality lasts forever, and every hand crafted item brings pride to all.
In Misty Mountains, where the snowstorms howl but the hearths keep warm, old-fashioned manufacturing continues to flourish. Here, in a place of peace and hardship balanced by tradition and innovation, the Amish community stands as an beacon of quality and craftsmanship, creating a legacy that endures through every season.

GFSN GENERAL INFO
GFSN.org (Global Farm Simulator Network) is a multi-server community for Farming Simulator 25 that supports a "Farm Manager" player model, allowing unlimited individually owned farms across various maps like Homeland 4X, Judith Plains Montana, Wild West 16x and Misty Mountains. The network emphasizes hyper-realistic, 24/7 gameplay with a sophisticated integrated economy, custom productions, and rules that mirror reality.
GFSN distinguishes itself from standard lobbies by offering a multi-server system where players can transact with others across different maps and servers. The community is primarily focused on the PC platform, providing a refined experience for players seeking a serious, long-term multiplayer farming simulation.
GFSN.org is a PC-only, 24/7, multi-server multiplayer community for Farming Simulator 25 that aims for a hyper-realistic, "as close to real life as possible" farming experience. It positions itself as the go-to for serious, long-term players who want something far beyond a standard co-op lobby.
Core Concept: Farm Manager Model
Instead of one shared co-op farm, every player is a Farm Manager who owns and operates their own individual farm. There's no cap on how many farms can exist on a given map, each player has their own land, equipment, finances, and production. The multi-server system means you can transact with players on entirely different servers and maps via instant banking transfers, buying/selling equipment, vehicles, and crops across the whole network.
.
Economy & Realism
This is where GFSN really differentiates itself:
Real-life pricing equipment costs mirror actual market prices.
Custom banking system CDs, checking accounts, loans, savings, interest rates, and penalties. No in-game restrictions.
Dynamic markets crop prices fluctuate with random highs and lows rather than fixed monthly schedules.
3-day months a middle ground between 1-day (brutal) and 14-day (too slow) months.
Contracts & labor â€" players can find work doing contracts or selling labor to other players. Minimum wage is $4,000/hour, capped at $10,000/hour.
Factory system each server has a Factory Resources Manager who must approve any new factory before it's built. Each server has a max factory cap (e.g., 100 on Misty Mountains 4X, 65 on Montana 4X), and current build counts are publicly tracked.
Building permits & inspections you need a permit before building, and a Permit Inspector reviews it. Landscaping work must be tracked and paid separately to the in-world "Global Revenue Services" via personal check.
Neighborly rules you must pick up pallets from animal barns daily or face fines. You're not allowed to drive across fields you don't own.
Each server has named staff roles: Factory Resources Manager, Rental Manager, Shady's Manager (for used equipment), and Permit Inspector all played by actual community members.
.
Community & Access
Free to play, no pay-to-win.
Players are screened, vetted, and interviewed by staff before being granted access, keeping the community active and serious.
A ticket system is available for issue resolution, plus a Discord for community chat.
Content creators are welcome to stream but must follow specific rules (e.g., handling private mods that depict real-world brands).
Land can be leased or purchased. An online legend/Real Estate portal helps players find available plots.
How It Compares to Other FS25 Multiplayer Communities
There are other large FS25 multiplayer communities (like Farmers Only Club with 20+ servers and a global economy, or FSG Realism with a $2.5M starting loan and co-op market). GFSN's distinguishing features are the interview-based player vetting, the multi-server economy spanning maps, the factory approval process with per-server caps, and the emphasis on real-world regulatory mimicry (permits, inspections, taxes, banking). It's aimed at players who want the closest thing to running a real farm operation within a game.
